Tune into America's Got Talent: Extreme next week and you may see a familiar face.

Kelowna motocross rider Bruce Cook announced today, March 3, he will be a part of reality TV show. Contestants showcase stunts and extreme talents for a panel of judges including Simon Cowell, WWE star Nikki Bella and stunt performer Travis Pastrana.

Contestants move on to different rounds each week.

"Ninety-eight months since my accident. The time feels like it’s flown by but also like it was forever ago. I sometimes stop and think about the amount of stuff I’ve done in that time and it makes me smile. One of those things is much more recently and that is appearing on Americas Got Talent. My episode airs on Monday if you’d like to check it out," Cook wrote on his Facebook page.

Cook was the first motocross rider in the world to complete a backflip as a paraplegic. An accident in 2014 cost him the use of his legs while he attempted to be the first to land a double front flip on a motorbike. The accident hasn’t held him back.

He also hosts By Hook or by Cook, a series that has been nominated for a Canadian Screen award.

You can check out America's Got Talent: Extreme on NBC or CTV.
