British Columbia’s largest ever scratch and win lottery prize has been won by a Kelowna woman.

Darlene Curylo’s trip to a Circle K convenience store in Kelowna turned out to be a profitable one for the Kelowna woman after she purchased a Triple Millions Scratch & Win ticket that won $3 million, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.

“I was in my car in the parking lot and I scratched the ticket. When I saw the amount I was in shock. I just couldn’t believe it,” Curylo said in the relese.

Curylo went home and shared the news with a close friend.

The Kelowna resident has plans to purchase a new home and vehicle in addition to investing the remainder of her winnings.

“It is wonderful. It feels so amazing,” she said.

The ticket was purchased from the Circle K convenience store on K.L.O. Road in Kelowna.

Triple Millions is a national lottery game with odds of winning the top prize at 1:1,210,00, BCLC said.
