KELOWNA - Two Kelowna men have given new meaning to the term “taking the bus.”

Kelowna RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said in a press release police responded at 1:08 a.m. to reports of two school buses being used as crash cars in a Rutland church parking lot.

Police say they arrived at the church on Highway 33 to find the two badly damaged buses wedged together.

RCMP used fresh tracks in the snow and tips from witnesses to track down and arrest an 18-year-old and a19-year-old who are facing potential charges.
