Kelowna Rockets defenseman signs entry-level contract with Vegas Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights signed Rockets defenseman Kaedan Korczak to a three-year entry-level contract.

Korczak was selected Saturday in the second round (41st overall) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.

He has appeared in 32 games during the 2019-20 season with the Rockets, recording 28 points (5 G, 23 A) to go with 10 penalty minutes. He ranks second on the team in points and leads all defensemen. Last season with the Rockets, the Yorkton, Saskatchewan native finished with 33 points (4 G, 29 A) to go with 64 PIM in 68 games.

Korczak and the Rockets will open the second half of the season on Friday, Dec. 27 when they host the Kamloops Blazers. Tickets are on sale at selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050.
