A 47-year-old Lake Country man whose recent crime spree stretched from Oliver to Armstrong is back behind bars.

Trevor Parkstrom was arrested Dec. 18, after a member of the public clocked some suspicious activity in the early hours of the morning and called the police, according to an RCMP media release.

Parkstrom was found in possession of a stolen F250 truck in Kelowna.

Police say the 47-year-old has inflicted an "endless string of property crime" across the Central Okanagan which included theft over $5,000, fraud, and possession of stolen property.

"Parkstrom generated files in Armstrong, Oliver, Kamloops, Lake Country, Kelowna, and beyond," the release says.

Kelowna RCMP have to Parkstrom to 12 files this month and 22 in the last 90 days.

"Parkstrom is named to approximately 150 calls for service since 2013 and he has been creating police files throughout the Okanagan Valley. He has shown no regard for law and order within these communities," the release says.

The Crown has now approved charges against Parkstrom and he will remain in custody until a court appearance in the new year.

Kelowna RCMP says he has outstanding files in the North, Central and South Okanagan.

"Our teams work from the data and intelligence gathered, to piece together the facts and evidence and develop strong cases for court. We prioritize those who are ruthlessly committing crime and we take lawful action through investigations to stop property crime," Kelowna RCMP Corp. Guillaume Tanguary said in the release. "Our communities have been significantly impacted by this crime spree."
