KELOWNA — Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspects with possible ties to a suspicious vehicle.

The incident dates back to Feb. 8, 2019 when Kelowna RCMP received a report of "a disturbance and suspicious occurrence" related to a dark-coloured four-door sedan, driving in the 2200 block of Pandosy Street, according to a news release today, Feb. 25.

“In an effort to further their still ongoing investigation, police are looking for new information that may lead them to the identity of the vehicle’s driver, any of its occupants that Friday night or even its registered owner,” Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in the release.

Police did not explain what the suspicious occurrence was or otherwise why they are seeking the vehicle.

Video surveillance shows the vehicle appears to have aluminum rims, and chrome trim around the driver and passenger door windows. Police say the vehicle may be either a Chrysler, Mercedes or BMW.

If you were a witness to this event and have not yet spoken to police, or if you can identify the driver of the vehicle or its registered owner, call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. You can remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net.
