KELOWNA — Police in Kelowna are searching for an unknown male involved in an altercation that left another man recovering from non-life threatening injuries.

Police say on Dec. 22, 2018, at around 12:35 a.m., RCMP received a call of a fight that had taken place inside a business in the 1500 block of Dilworth Drive in Kelowna.

According to witnesses at the scene, officers quickly learned that two men had gotten into a fight where one man sustained injuries. Police say this man remained on scene while the second unknown man left before police arrived.

RCMP say they are interested in speaking with this man and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual.

“Police are releasing images captured from video surveillance footage in an effort to identify that secondary unknown male individual,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in a media release.

The man in the photographs is described as Caucasian, approximately 40 years old, 6’7” tall, with a heavy build and a large, full beard. He was also seen wearing a black trench coat.
