Kelowna RCMP looking for suspect who allegedly shot at a residence with BB gun

Kelowna RCMP officers are looking for a suspect who allegedly shot at a window in a home with a BB gun.

RCMP say at roughly 4:45 p.m. yesterday, July 15, officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 1900 block of Pandosy Street.

A witness told officers she had seen a woman holding what appeared to be a handgun fleeing the scene in a blue car, according to an RCMP in a press release.

Officers searched the area, but the woman wasn't found.  A window of a residence had been shot with a BB gun.

“At this time we do not believe there were any injuries as a result of this incident,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in the release.

RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian woman in her 30s or 40s with darker blonde, shoulder-length hair. She was dressed in a blue sun dress.

Anyone with information about this crime can contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online here.
