The Kelowna RCMP is investigating an incident where a man entered a store on Enterprise Way and pooped in a display toilet.

"On June 10, at 3:40 p.m., Kelowna RCMP were notified by staff at a business in the 2500-block of Enterprise Way in Kelowna that an unknown man had entered the store and defecated in a display toilet," according to Const. Solana Pare with the Kelowna RCMP.

The RCMP is investigating, but at this time the suspect has not been identified, she said via email.

The Home Depot is located at 2515 Enterprise Way, with an array of display toilets.

"We continue to cooperate fully with authorities, however, as this remains a matter of an active investigation, we are unable to comment further at this time," said Paul Berto, director of corporate communications with The Home Depot Canada, in an emailed statement.

This story was updated at 12 p.m. to include a comment from The Home Depot.
