Kelowna RCMP is on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint on Bernard Avenue earlier this week.
According to a Kelowna RCMP media release, a man wearing a black ski mask and gloves entered the unnamed business and pointed a black handgun at a member of staff.
The armed robber then handed over a bag and demanded money.
The robbery took place in the 1300 Block of Bernard Ave at 10 p.m. Nov. 8.
Police say the man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and four packages of cigarettes along with other merchandise.
The armed robber then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Kelowna RCMP used a police dog to track the suspect down but he was not found.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dash camera footage from this area during the time of the robbery.
