The City of Kelowna has postponed the opening of the popular Stuart Park outdoor ice rink to Dec. 3 at 10 a.m., due to warm temperatures.
A still-image live cam that skaters can use to check the ice and crowd conditions before heading down to the rink is still set up and ready to use, according to a City of Kelowna media release.
Residents can check ice and crowd conditions on a still image live cam before heading to the rink. The live cam is updated every couple of minutes.
Skates are available to rent daily from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., however the rental shop will be closed on Dec. 25.
