KELOWNA - Police are asking the public is assist them in identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for the theft of a firearm late last year.
In a press release, Kelowna RCMP detailed how they responded to a reported break and enter at an apartment building on the 2300 block of Baron Road on Dec. 18, 2018.
Police believe two unknown men entered one of the ground-level suites and took a Ruger .22 calibre pistol. They proceeded into an administration office space.
Police reviewed security footage from the building, but they've been unable to identify the suspects, who attempted to conceal their faces. RCMP are turning to the public for help.
Officers also suspect the thieves may be connected with a two-tone grey and red pickup truck.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-330, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
