A Kelowna man is receiving some surprising attention online after he posted an image this morning of an interesting park job at Walmart.

Rich Moeller and his wife were at the Kelowna store at around 7:15 a.m., Aug 29, when they noticed a vehicle parked in the shopping cart return section, he said.

“Walmart has covered parking now,” he wrote in a Facebook post that has gathered roughly 400 reactions, more than 60 comments and 60 shares since he posted it this morning.

He follows an Okanagan Facebook group which shares ridiculous park jobs called “Shaming Drivers of the Okanagan,” and thought it would be a good place to share the photo.

“I was reading some of the comments and thought holy jeez, I must have made some people’s morning,” he said.

He didn’t expect the photo to gather so much attention.

“I just thought it was quite comical, I thought everybody needed a little bit of a chuckle,” he said.
