Kelowna man admits guilt in two separate voyeurism cases

KELOWNA – A 40-year-old Kelowna man has pleaded guilty to voyeurism involving five people in two separate incidents.

Todd Arthur Peters, born 1978, was initially charged with five counts of secretly observing or recording nudity in a private place, alleged to have occurred around June 10, 2016 and Dec. 1, 2015.

A trial was scheduled to start in April but today, Feb. 8, Peters pleaded guilty to one count of observing one person and one count of observing four people.

Four of the victims have the same last name, according to Judge Lisa Wyatt.

Peters has no criminal record in B.C. and will remain free on bail until his sentencing this spring.
