KELOWNA - A driver has been charged after their pickup collided with a charter bus in Kelowna yesterday.
The collision occurred around 2:50 p.m., yesterday, May 19, when a Ford Ranger collided with a tourist charter bus in the 2100-block of Glenmore Road North, RCMP say in a release.
Police determined the pickup driver failed to stop in time to avoid colliding with the rear side of the bus, which was stopped in traffic.
No injuries were reported, and bus passengers were placed on another bus.
The 24-year-old pickup driver was charged for following too close.
Witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
