Kelowna Area Cycling Association fun ride

A fun cycling event will get people together to learn about riding safely.

We are a non profit organization funded through membership fees, sponsorships and advertising. We want to make cycling a safe and attractive alternative for everyone.

Our goal is to promote safe cycling in Kelowna and area; to promote cooperation, education and respect among all road users, and to encourage more people to ride bikes more often.

We believe that cyclists and all drivers in B.C. should understand and follow the rules of the road and that the police should enforce those rules vigorously.

We believe that as cycling becomes more popular we will see improvement in the quality of
communities, health and environment.

The event takes place July 24 at 5:45 p.m. - Mission Creek Park, Springfield Rd, Kelowna

Contact: Grant Rice at ridebike@okanagan.net or 250-469-0986 to join in or find out more. The KACC is a local bicycle promotion and advocacy organization.
