KAMLOOPS - A woman who has been convicted of scamming a senior to get a breast enhancement surgery will be seeking bail on new charges in the New Year.

Brandie Bloor, 40, made a brief appearance by video in Kamloops Provincial Court today, Dec. 29, before Judge Christopher Cleaveley.

Bloor is facing 14 charges including personation, fraud, identity theft and forgery. She's currently without a lawyer but told the court today she expects to plead guilty to the new charges in the New Year.

Bloor is scheduled for a bail hearing in Kamloops on Jan. 12, one week after her expected appearances in Surrey and Abbotsford Provincial Courts on other outstanding charges including a breach of probation and theft under $5,000.

She says she's hoping to have those files waived to Kamloops.

Last year, Bloor was sentenced to nine months in jail and ordered to pay an 83-year-old man more than $17,000 after using his identity to co-sign for her breast enhancement, tummy tuck and liposuction.

An arrest warrant for the new charges was issued in November and Crown prosecutor Sarah Firestone told the court the warrant was executed Dec. 17 in Vancouver.
