Kamloops sunshine hides for the weekend

KAMLOOPS - Expect cloudy skies and above seasonal average temperatures in Kamloops this weekend.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud today, Nov. 17, with a 40 per cent chance of showers this morning and a high of 6 Celsius. It will be mainly cloudy overnight with a 40 percent chance of wet flurries and a low of zero.

The chance of wet flurries remains tomorrow morning with a cloudy day in the forecast. Expect a brisk wind in the afternoon and a high of 6 C. The mercury will drop to 4 C overnight under a cloudy sky.

Those grey clouds provide some insulation through on Saturday and Sunday, when highs will climb to about 8 C, which is above seasonal averages.

Normal temperatures for this time of year are highs of 4 C and lows of -2 C.
