KAMLOOPS - Late registration tickets are still available to hopefuls who plan to Slide the City on a giant waterslide later this month.
On July 18, Hillside Drive between Hillside Way and Notre Dame drive will be closed off to host the event. On the event’s website, tickets are available for a single slide or a package of three slides. Along with the triple slide ticket, attendees get a drawstring grab bag which includes a mouthguard, and a tube. Single slide ticket holders are required to bring their own tube to the event.
Triple slider and single slider tickets are still available, though unlimited slider tickets are sold out. To avoid long lines on the day of the event, organizers encourage attendees to pick up their tickets at the Aberdeen Mall Centre Court on Friday, July 17, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
