NORTH OKANAGAN - Search and Rescue teams are ramping up their efforts to find a missing Enderby woman last seen on July 19, 2016.

Deana Mildred Wertz was reported missing on July 22, 2016.

Early this morning Kamloops Search and Rescue sent six members and two dogs, to aid Shuswap SAR, Alan Hobler, Kamloops SAR search manager said.

Hobler thinks if the teams come up short today, more crews from other regions may join in.

"Today is going to be the big push," Hobler said. "This case, it's kind of a mystery."

Wertz is now one of three women to go missing from the North Okanagan in a short period of time. The investigations of missing women Caitlin Potts and Ashley Simpson are still ongoing.

RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says there is no evidence linking the three women's disappearances, but acknowledges that three people going missing from this area in a short amount of time is unusual.

Anyone with information related to Deana Wertz, or Caitlin Potts or Ashley Simpson is asked to contact their nearest RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The number for the Enderby RCMP detachment is 250-838-6818.
