In an incident reminiscent of a famous fairy tale, a Kamloops resident returned home to find someone had moved into their home for the weekend.
The resident called police at approximately 5:15 p.m. Sunday, June 9, when she came home and found someone had broken in, according to an RCMP media release.
The person who broke in had eaten her food, slept in her bed, fed her cats and used her washer and dryer.
The resident said nothing of value appeared to have been taken.
Anyone with information about the break and enter is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-17738.
