Kamloops RCMP have released the photo of a suspect arrested this past weekend in hopes of furthering its investigation.

Around 11 p.m. on Jan. 23, officers arrested two men known to be on conditional release around Jasper Avenue in Kamloops, according to an RCMP media release.

Officers were investigating a domestic disturbance in the area when two men were spotted in a vehicle without its registered owner present, violating their release conditions.

RCMP have released a photo of one of the men in custody.

"Police are releasing Housego’s photo to help further this investigation," Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Const. Crystal Evelyn said in the release. "We are seeking a timeline of the 24-hours leading up to his arrest."

Police are specifically looking for information on the man's whereabouts between 11 p.m. Jan. 22 to 11 p.m. Jan. 23.

Cody Housego, 26, is charged with two counts of possessing ammunition while prohibited, one count of possessing drugs while prohibited and one count for failing to comply with a release order.

Housego has a court appearance scheduled for tomorrow, Jan. 27.

If you have information related to Housego's whereabouts you can call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 21-2541.
