Kamloops RCMP are trying to track down a woman who is a suspect in an ongoing assault and theft investigation that happened almost a month ago.
Police were called to a store in the 1800-block of Tranquille Road where an employee was allegedly assaulted after confronting a shoplifter on May 1, according to a press release.
“Police are releasing images of the woman in an attempt to identify her as part of the investigation,” RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
The woman has been described as caucasian, shoulder length black hair, medium build, and roughly 40 years old. She was seen in a purple track suit.
