Kamloops RCMP officer charged with mischief and uttering threats

The BC Prosecution Service has approved criminal charges against a Kamloops RCMP officer.

Const. Adrian Griffith has been charged with mischief and uttering threats in connection with an incident that happened on March 20, according to a release from the BC Prosecution Service issued, Oct. 25.

The first court date in the case is set for Nov. 21 in Kamloops.

The service said the charge was approved by an experienced Crown counsel with no prior or current connection with the officer.

Since the case is before the courts now, the BC Prosecution Service said it will not be releasing any details about the incident.
