Kamloops RCMP looking for help to solve church break-in

Thieves have broken into the Kamloops Seventh-day Adventist Church twice in one month.

Kamloops RCMP are seeking information about two recent break-ins at a church. 

Police are seeking the public's assistance after the Kamloops Seventh-day Adventist Church in the 300 block of Fortune Drive was broken into twice in one month. 

At around 9:15 a.m., Feb 17, RCMP received a report of a break and enter that occurred overnight at the church. It had been broken into two weeks earlier on Feb. 2. 

Televisions, stereos, microphones and amps were stolen as well as other electronics and miscellaneous items.

“We are reaching out to the public to please check their security and dash camera footage from Feb. 16-17, and Feb. 1-2, and to be mindful of any suspicious vehicles or people in the area,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in a press release.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has security or dash-camera footage that may be related is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-4867 or 2024-3333.
