Kamloops RCMP investigating suspicious incident in Brocklehurst

KAMLOOPS - Police are asking for the public's help in getting to the bottom of a suspicious incident in Brock.

Police received a report that yesterday, April 12, at approximately 3:20 p.m., a middle-aged woman driving a black or dark blue mini van approached a 12-year-old girl walking down the alley between Southill Street and Desmond Street, Kamloops RCMP say in a news release.

The woman offered the girl a ride to her parents' place. The girl didn't know the woman and there were no apparent signs of the girl needing help.

"Although there is little details available, the matter was reported as the woman’s behaviour appeared suspicious," Staff Sgt. Michel Grondin says in the release.

If you have any information on this matter, call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 quoting file no. 2018-11116.
