KAMLOOPS - Calls are still coming in to the local RCMP detachment as business owners in the Dallas neighbourhood arrive at work to find themselves victimes of break and enters this morning, Jan. 27.
Cpl. Cheryl Bush, a spokesperson for the Kamloops detachment, says one 45-year-old man is in custody after police followed up on four break and enter calls and a bait car activation around 6 a.m. But there may be more calls to follow up on.
"I'm aware of three more that were called in," Bush says.
The man in custody for the vehicle theft is a suspect in at least one of the break and enters, according to Bush.
The investigation is ongoing while police continue collecting evidence. Officers are considering these instances may be connected to several break and enters from November.
