The Kamloops RCMP is investigating after a man was stabbed in the leg last weekend.

Police responded May 14, at 9:20 a.m. after a man entered a retail store in the 700-block of Sydney Avenue, claiming he was assaulted with a weapon.

Police officers then found two men with non-life threatening injuries, one of which was transported to hospital and later released.

A suspect, known to the victims, fled on a bicycle toward Fortune Drive and 8th Street, according to the RCMP's press release.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who witnessed or has related information is asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-15909.
