KAMLOOPS - Operation Red Nose in Kamloops is having one of it’s most successful seasons as it’s cracked 600 rides in the first three weekends of operation.

The volunteer driving service that gets people home after they've had a 'few too many' is tops in B.C. for providing the most rides home, and is 15th out the 100 participating Canadian communities.

Additionally, the program has raised more than $5,900 for it’s charity, PacificSport Interior B.C.

Due to popular demand, they organizers are adding a 15th night of service, Friday, Dec. 23, helping people get home from their Christmas parties from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Volunteers are still being sought. If you’re interested in helping out contact program coordinator Katie Klaassen at 250-320-0650 or email her at kklassen@kamloops.ca.
