KAMLOOPS - A man is recovering in hospital after police found him "covered in blood from his face to his feet" late Saturday night.
Mounties were called to a Fortune Drive home near midnight and found the 23-year-old man on a front door step conscious and breathing but badly injured. He was taken to Royal Inland Hospital by ambulance where they determined he was shot in the the face and had injuries to his hand as well, according to an RCMP release. The bullet is now lodged in his spine and will require surgery. He is expected to recover.
Meanwhile, police found the location he was shot, also on Fortune Drive, and arrested four people for questioning. Police also canvassed the area for witnesses.
