Kamloops man claims he was shot; RCMP investigating

A man showed up at the North Shore police station in Kamloops early Saturday morning claiming he’d been shot.

RCMP say the man attended the detachment at around 5:10 a.m. on June 15, saying he had been shot at and the back window of his vehicle was shattered by the round.

The man, who had minor injuries, provided few details to police.

Investigators are looking for more information about the shooting.

Anyone who witnessed the shooting, or has information related to the investigation including video or dash camera footage, is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2024-18551.
