On May 1, the victim said she was knocked to the ground, then spit on and punched in the North Shore Safeway parking lot.
She said she was followed through a Fortune Drive construction zone by an aggressive driver before they met in the parking lot.
"When I got out, I could hear him screaming and he came running to me, ranting, raving and yelling. I was standing up for myself telling him to back off and he didn't back off," she told iNFOnews.ca as she was recovering the next day.

Granger was later released with conditions, according to Kamloops RCMP.
Granger, who isn't being held in custody, was charged on Aug. 3, three months after he allegedly assaulted her, according to court records.
