Police found stolen wallets and identification when responding to a disturbance late last week.
Kamloops RCMP were called to Howe and Balmoral roads around 7:15 a.m., July 22, where a man was arguing with a person allegedly in possession of his stolen property, according to an RCMP news release.
Nicholas Marcel Benallick, 39, was arrested and held in custody for a court appearance.
“As part of the investigation, police located other items, leading to a series of charge recommendations and approvals,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
Benallick is facing 10 charges including attempted break and enter, possession of stolen property and ID, and forgery.
He was released on bail today, July 26, but he's expected to return to court again on Aug. 4.
