Kamloops housing sales slowing down

KAMLOOPS - Home sales in Kamloops have dipped slightly.

Year-to-date, the Kamloops & District real estate market continues to fall just behind last year’s sales with 1,150 homes sold, compared to 1,220 sales in the first five months of last year. In May there were 327 residential sales.

However, the average price of a home in Kamloops has gone up from $390,697 last year to $427, 831 this year. This is the highest average monthly price on record.

Below is a breakdown of property types, how many were sold and how many were up for sale this May.
