There was a landscape fire in Kamloops last night.
It happened shortly after 6 p.m. on April 15 on 8th Street near York Avenue, according to platoon captain Ken Hartt.
One fire engine responded. There were no injuries reported and the cause has not been determined.
Reader Jody Sinclair, while on her way to a Blazers game, was waiting at a bus stop down the road game when she noticed the fire.
“I didn't think much of it until I saw the flames,” she said.
