Kamloops Farmers' Market running again

We had our first market yesterday, Feb. 15, and it was a success.

We want to spread the word about the market continuing their market in the Sandman Center on Wednesdays. It will run every other Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 1p.m.

The market dates are March 1, March 15, March 29 and April 12, after which we move back outside.

Vendors will be selling a variety of product including vegetables, fruit, honey, baked goods, beef jerky, farm fresh eggs, farm-raised poultry, handmade soaps and lotions, and more!

"A lot of people don't know we still have a lot of produce to sell this time of year, the market is an education tool as well. We have to teach people what eating seasonally looks like, and inspire them to buy locally all year round! This will be a great opportunity for school groups to come through the market as well, so children can see that food doesn't always come from a food store," says Addie de Candole, Indoor Market Manager.

We are always looking for more vendors, we want to let everyone know that we are operating again.

The KRFM strives to support local makers, bakers, and growers.
