A Kamloops drug store employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

According to an online post by parent company Loblaw, an employee at Shoppers Drug Mart at the Northills Shopping Centre in Kamloops tested positive on a presumptive test.

The employee's last day at work was Feb. 19.

Loblaw posted seven COVID positive notices in B.C. since Feb. 22, five of them yesterday alone. Sobeys has also posted four notices about exposures at its B.C. operations since Feb. 22.

There are currently no active public exposures listed by Interior Health on its online listing page here.
