After its trial weekend sold out within hours, the Twin Rivers Drive-In will be returning to Kamloops for the rest of the summer.

Starting July 10, the drive-in will be held every weekend from Friday to Sunday at McArthur Island Sports Centre in Kamloops in the south-facing parking lot, according to a Twin Rivers Drive-In media release.

Occupancy will be limited to 50 vehicles per evening, with a maximum of six people per car to comply with limits on social gatherings issued by the provincial government.

Tickets will be available online only, and can be purchased for the July 10 weekend here.

The drive-in will be showing the movies Onward and Black Panther.

Parking opens at 9 p.m. and the first show will start at 9:30 p.m.

The Twin Rivers Drive-In is organized by a group of local businesses and organizations, including The Kamloops Film Society, Lee’s Music, GK Sound, Tourism Kamloops and the City of Kamloops.
