KAMLOOPS - Nominations for the 2015 Business Excellence Awards were released today by the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and TD Bank Group.
A record total of 509 nominations were received, nominating 202 Kamloops businesses in 16 award categories. Please see the complete list of nominees below.
The 29th annual Business Excellence Awards are brought to the community by the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce and TD Bank Group.
The gala event celebrates the Kamloops business community and highlights 17 award winners in total (Business of the Year is chosen from the winners of the other 16 awards).
The timeline leading up to the gala event is as follows:
- August – An independent selection committee, comprised of over 40 business leaders, scores each nominee
- Early September – KPMG tabulates the scores and informs the selection committee of the top 3 finalists in each award category
- Sept. 9 – Finalists are revealed at a Chamber function hosted by Kamloops Ford Lincoln
- Sept. 9 – Awards Gala Tickets go on sale to the public
- September – Selection committee interviews all finalists to determine award recipients
- Oct. 24 – Business Excellence Awards Gala at Coast Kamloops Conference Centre
