Cowabunga, dudes – the Kamloops Blazers will play a game in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles jerseys.

The local WHL team will be dressed as the iconic crime-fighting turtles when they take on the Saskatoon Blades next month.

The special event is being held as a fundraiser – Nickelodeon Night for Children’s Miracle Network. Afterwards, the Blazers’ game-worn TMNT jerseys will be auctioned off. Money raised will support children’s hospitals in Western Canada.

The game starts at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Sandman Centre. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
