KAMLOOPS - The Kamloops Blazers will be hosting the Portland Winterhawks on B.C. Family Day on February 13th, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Sandman Centre.

It will be a special day at the Sandman Centre. The first 5000 fans will receive a Jermaine Loewen Bobblehead courtesy of our great partners at Intact Insurance who have proudly sponsored the bobblehead and the game night.

We will be welcoming 400 Big Brothers Big Sisters from the mentoring program. They will attend the game courtesy of some terrific local sponsors in Cates Ford Oien Epp Barristers & Solicitors, Fulton and Company LLP, and Gillespie and Company LLP.

The B.C. Family Day game will be recognized as ‘Faith and Family Day’. The Blazers have teamed up with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kamloops and will have a contingent of people from St. Ann’s Academy and Our Lady of Perpetual Help schools at the game.

Bishop Joseph P. Nguyen will drop the puck in a ceremonial faceoff, and the St. Ann’s Academy and O.L.P.H. Rising Stars school choir will perform the national anthems.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation will be raffling off a trip for 2 anywhere WestJet flies. Tickets will only be available at the game, with the prize awarded in the third period.

On the way out of the building, fans will be able to pick up a team poster from Browns Socialhouse!

Following the game, there will be a postgame skate with the Blazers. Make sure to bring your skates to get pictures and autographs from some of your favourite players!

At the conclusion of the postgame skate, the Blazers will be at Browns Socialhouse to interact with fans.
