Johnny Reid coming to Okanagan with 'My Kind Of Christmas' tour

PENTICTON - Canadian country music artist Johnny Reid is touring in support of his new Christmas album and is making a stop in the Okanagan just in time for the holidays.

Reid’s new album My Kind Of Christmas is set to release on Oct. 25. and will include holiday originals as well as his rendition on familiar favourites such as Merry Christmas Everyone. Reid will go on a cross Canada tour promoting the album from Nov. 16 to Dec. 14 with 23 stops along the way, according to a media release. 

Reid will be performing at the South Okanagan Event Centre in Penticton on Dec. 13. His tour also includes concerts in Abbotsford, Dawson Creek and Prince George.

Reid is from Lanark, Scotland, and moved to Canada in the late 1980s. He has released seven best-selling albums with songs such as A Woman Like You, Today I’m Going To Try And Change The World and Dance With Me.

Tickets for Reid’s tour are available on Sept. 27 and can be purchased at Live Nation here.
