John Fogerty set to rock Penticton this summer

PENTICTON - A rock and roll icon is making a return appearance to Penticton.
Frontman for Creedence Clearwater Revival John Fogerty returns to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday, July 14, after playing the same venue in November 2014.
Fogerty’s career spans 50 years as a writer, singer and creator of such classic CCR hits as "Born on the Bayou", "Green River”, “Proud Mary”, "Bad Moon Rising" and "Lookin’ Out My Back Door".
His solo career include the hits "Rockin’ All Over the World", "The Old Man Down the Road", "Rock and Roll Girls" and the 1985 baseball anthem “Centrefield", according to a media release.
Fogerty is an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He’s also been honoured as one of the top 100 guitarists, 100 greatest songwriters and 100 greatest singers by Rolling Stone.
Tickets for "An Evening with John Fogerty" go on sale Friday, April 13 at 10 a.m. and range in price from $29.95 to $99.95 plus service charges.
