Unemployment rate: 7.2 per cent (6.9)

Number unemployed: 1,382,700 (1,315,800)

Number working: 17,769,600 (17,815,500)

Youth (15-24 years) unemployment: per cent 14.0 (13.4)

Men (25 plus) unemployment: per cent 6.4 (6.2)

Women (25 plus) unemployment: per cent 5.6 (5.3)
