It's going to be a warm week, Kamloops

Settle in for another week of beautiful fall weather.

There may be some clouds lingering, but expect to soak in some warm fall days, Kamloops.

Environment Canada is forecasting temperatures as high as 25 Celsius in the week ahead,

Today, Oct. 5, will be cloudy, but the sun will peek out from time to time.

Wind will also be blowing in from the east, at 20 kilometres an hour in the afternoon. The high temperature will be 23 C and it will drop to around 11 C overnight.

Tuesday will be a bit cooler, with a high of 22 C expected, and clouds will still be around.

The nicest day this week is expected to be Wednesday, so you may want to keep your sunscreen handy. It’s supposed to be full sun and the temperature is supposed to reach as high as 25 C, which falls just short of the record of 26.3 set in 1980.

On Thursday, it’s expected to be mostly sunny with some clouds. The high is forecast at 23 C.

So far, Friday looks like the worst day of the week. Clouds and a high of 17 C is forecast. Taking the edge off the weather shift is that it's Friday, so you can pop on some sweats and have a latte to keep warm.

All in all, the week is shaping up to be a bit warmer than usual.

Environment Canada records indicate the normal temperatures at this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 16 C and lows of 5 C.
