KELOWNA - For Civiliana, an alternative-rock group based in Vancouver, their July show in Kelowna is a homecoming.

Calen Trentini, Adam Wilson, and Spencer Daley, met when they were teenagers in Kelowna and created a makeshift band. They drifted apart, but reconnected in Vancouver, forming Civiliana in 2015. The released their first EP, Out of the Window, in 2016 with producer and fellow Kelownian Daniel Ponich, who quickly joined the band.

The group fuses alternative-rock with electronic music for a winning blend. 2019 is set to be their biggest year yet. The single Carry a Light dropped in spring and the song Void came out on June 10.

To celebrate the song's release, Civiliana is returning home for their first-ever Kelowna show. They're performing with South Korean rock band Sonic Stones at Fernando's Pub at 9 p.m. on July 6.

You can grab online tickets here for $8 or pay $10 at the door.
