B.C.'s medical health officer is becoming a bit of a media star with her daily heart-felt media briefings on the latest information on the COVID-19 pandemic.

People across the province, and the country, tune in into Dr. Bonnie Henry's press conferences on social media with almost the same interest as Hollywood red carpet interviews and award shows making the provincial medical health officer a new celebrity.

She even has a fan page on Twitter, called the Dr. Bonnie Henry Fan Club, which has amassed over 4,000 followers in one month. That is about 1,000 more followers than her actual Twitter account.

Amy and Vicki decided to honour Henry's dedicated efforts to combat the novel coronavirus by writing and performing song for her called Dear Dr Bonnie.
