KAMLOOPS - Just when you think winter's done with you, it pulls you back in.

Kamloops, Merritt and some Coldstream residents woke up this morning, April 27, to an unwelcome spring sight: Snow.

According to Environment Canada, the snow will be accompanied by showers and a cloudy outlook in Kamloops today, along with a high of 10 C. Wind might be the biggest concern of the day with gusting winds this afternoon perhaps reaching 60 km/h. The night will hit below zero with frost, so bundle up tight. The Okanagan forecast is very similar.

It could always be worse though and by worse, we mean Alberta, where most of the province is either under a snowfall warning or a winter storm watch. They are bracing for anywhere between 15 and 30 cm of snow by tonight.

On April 26, Enivornment Canada issued a snowfall alert for the Trans Canada Highway from Eagle Pass to Rogers Pass. Check out road conditions on drivebc.ca.

We've got unconfirmed reports from other areas of the Okanagan getting snow as well. Did you? Let us know in the comments below.
