Five years after her daughter disappeared, Caitlin Potts' mom Priscilla Potts has released a video appealing for any information surrounding the disappearance of her daughter.

Caitlin Potts of Enderby was last heard from Feb. 22, 2016 and was reported missing to Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP, March 1. She was 27 years old at the time. The RCMP believe Caitlin was murdered.

"These past years have been the hardest years of my life, all I'm left to do is wonder where my daughter may be," Priscilla Potts says in the video released by the RCMP. "I need to know what happened to my daughter... I know someone knows what happened to Caitlin and can lead us to finding her, I'm begging you."

The Southeast District RCMP is also appealing to the public for any information regarding Caitlin's disappearance. Along with the video, police have released a new photo of Caitlin.

Vernon RCMP have released a new photo of Caitlin Potts who has been missing for five years. She was 27 years old when she was last seen on Feb. 22, 2016.

"Over the past five years major crime investigators have received, analyzed and investigated 25 public tips and pursued hundreds of investigative leads in the case," B.C. RCMP Major Crime Section Supt. Sanjaya Wijayakoon said in a media release. "Although Caitlin has not been found yet, the Southeast District Major Crime Unit remains committed to finding out what has happened to Caitlin so that we can provide answers to her friends, family and loved ones."

More than one year after Caitlin disappeared the RCMP released video surveillance of her taken at the Orchard Park Shopping Centre in Kelowna the day before she disappeared. The surveillance footage shows Caitlin as she enters the Hudson’s Bay store on Feb. 21, 2016.

RCMP said the major crime team met earlier this week with Priscilla Potts as she renewed her appeal to find out what happened to her daughter.

RCMP are urging anyone with any information to immediately contact the RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit at 1-877-987-8477 or remain anonymous and call B.C. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
