iN VIDEO: Kamloops man wins $1.35M at Vegas poker tournament

Aaron Duczak from Kamloops finished seventh at the 2022 Annual World Series of Poker and took home $1.35 million.

A poker player from Kamloops placed seventh at 2022 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Aaron Duczak pocketed a cool $1,350,000.

That’s a pretty nice payday for the Duczak who's poker earnings are pegged at $156,927 on his World Series of Poker profile.

Only two other Canadians placed in the top 50 and are both from Ontario.

There were three players still competing in the tournament at the time of publication.

Initially there were 8,663 entries.

The top prize is $10 million.
